Hi to all,

I'm hoping to get some help: since I already have an interview date (February 11th), I've started following step by step the K1 guide on here to eventually pay the interview fee. Unfortunately, while filling out the online form as a NEW APPLICANT (name, surname, passport, ds160 no. etc...), in the drop-down menu I misteriously can't find the K1 FIANCE option. There area all sorts of visas but that one, in fact it jumps from letter J to L!!

Could someone help me on this one please?

Gabe

I payed my interview fee just a couple weeks ago and I found the K1. I am not quite sure anmore in what sections it was devided up... Did you maybe put somewhere non-immigrant visa instead of immigrant visa and that's why? I also remeber that I had select a general option first that also included K2 and K3 and then went on to select the K1 from there. I believe that option was all the way at the top of the list. I am sorry that my answer is so vague! I will check as soon as I get home and then explain it a little better! Promise. :)

Be sure you're looking under e non-immigrant visa section. The K1 is technically non-immigrant.

Major misinformation, Batman.

While you're right in the second part of your statement in that the K1 is a hybrid visa, you're wrong in the first part. You have to use the Immigrant section of the CSC site.

Just trying to help. I forget where it was on the website but was offering alternate solutions since the OP was having difficulty finding it. It is a non-immigrant visa, so it was worth mentioning.

Luckily, the OP figured it out and has successfully navigated the confusing website.
