I sent in AOS paperwork where my husband is a joint sponsor and I'm a household memeber. His mother is applying for a minor child. I forgot to send in proof of citizenship. I sent the paperwork on Saturday (Jan 18th). Questions, Should I have sent proof of PR for mother, and proof of citizenship for husband and myself. Or just for the joint sponser??? Can I go ahead send the missing paperwork in with the orginial coversheet and an explaination of why I'm sending in this random paperwork? Or do I have to wait for an RFE??? He turns 21 in April and I don't want to delay this any longer than needed.

Wait for RFE (USCIS)/ checklist (NVC) then:) they will asked for it if something missing or to provide more proof as per status each person good luck

I know I should wait for the RFE info, I guess my question/point is if I wait for the RFE, I will lose a month's processing time at NVC (2 weeks processing, resend and another 2 weeks of processing (more or less).

If I sent in the missing paperwork now with the cover sheet and an explanation stating that I already send int the AOS paperwork and forgot to include the following, would they accept it? If it’s possible to send it in now, I would only loose a couple days instead of a month.

I never been that scenario i know You are concerning the process days but if you insist to do it is not a big deal with it, i do not think they would consider it

The consequence is this, USCIS/NVC will notify through email or letter has something has need to submit/comply. With that letter is included with instruction of correspondence letter and/ cover letter you may need to include when you re submit.

and also once it under initial reviewed there were so many things in there has need to be change or no need.

but as far as your concerned with whatever it works for you just go ahead so that we would see if there something that has need to address despite your decision making will make us clear and this kind of consequence will give more help to everyone out there who are in now on the same situation like you

Good luck...
