I and my wife has a age difference of 10 as we did court mariage on jan 2013 and traditional mariage on sept. 2013 after 4 long year relationship when she came to Nepal. My proces is in NVC now. She went to US on 2010 and got green card. We hav every proof to prove our relationship, letters, emails etc. frm 2010. My question is,

# Does age difference matters in getting visa?

# If everything is accepted from NVC then why the visa is rejected after it is send to the Embassy of beneficiary??

What is the local age norm in Nepal? I think the COs are looking for things that are not normal. May not necessarily mean a denial but you may require extra effort and convincing.

The CO makes the final determination on approving a visa during the interview and based on the interview and the paper evidence collected at NVC.

what does CO means? And why does embassy of beneficiary rejects if Nvc accepts and transfer case to country of beneficiary

CO is Consular Officer, the person who interviewed you.

NVC only does pre-screening, the visa will be granted by the embassy.

10 years is not that much, especially if you have met eachother often and you seem to be from the same country. How often have you met in the 4 yars you have been together? Who is older?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

That's all good stuff. If you have photos of eachother's families meeting, that is great too.,
