Approved petition is in Consulate in Kabul, but no NOA2?

I was hoping to get some advice on what I need to do. Here are the details of what has happened in my application thus far:

I-129F sent on October 2, 2013

NOA1 (I-797C) received on October 10, 2013

RFE Received on October 30, 2013 for Fiance's letter of Intent (even though I had sent it...)

I sent the letter of intent on November 1, 2013

As of today, the status on my application still says the following: On November 14, 2013, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location.

On December 18, 2013 I received a letter stating:

The NVC received your fiance's approved I-129F petition from USCIS. The NVC will now forward the petition to the Embassy or Consulate in Kabul. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiance when they are ready to process his or her petition.

In the meantime, please have your fiance visit ceac.state.gov and complete Form DS-160 to apply for a K visa

On December 21, 2013 my fiance completed and submitted the DS-160

Upon going to the Visa Status Check on ceac.state.gov, it states the following:

Immigrant Visa Application: Ready

Case creation date: 13-Dec-2013

Status updated date: 18-Jan-2014

Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.

I am wondering what we need to do now? I have yet to receive our NOA2 or packet 3. Is there something I'm missing??

The note that you received on December 18 should suffice, because it affirms approval. If you're mightily concerned, e-mail the embassy and ask.

I don't know why does a mere status on a website confuses you when you already have gotten a physical mail affiriming your approval.

You should chase down the missing NOA2 letter because you need it for AOS later on.
