Yes it is. How much ammo do you feel you need to be safe Lib? I've applied for my FOID card, and we're getting a gun counter here on base next month. When I get my gun, I'll see what I can afford. I don't need an arsenal.

I'm not anti gun. I'm in the military, I've shot plenty of guns. I just don't think you need a whole platoon's worth of ammo to be safe, not to mention how close I live to St. Louis and I'm still unarmed and alive.

It's laughable that you think guns are a bigger problem than medicine. Big pharma kills people all the time - and gets away with it! Consider prescription drug abuse and how that plays into gun crime as well. And lets not even get started on illegal drugs.
