Adjustment from k-1 to k-3?

Hi there.

I am a US citizen, and my fiance is from the UK, we recently did the processing for the I129F and k-1 visa, got approved and everything is good there. We were originally going to adjust the status to K-3 permanent resident status for my fiance, however, reading up on this site I saw the K-3 is rarely given out now and is obsolete?

Can someone help me then with exactly what to do? Since everywhere I've looked suggest doing the adjustment of status to the K-3?? What do we need to do?

K-3 is for married couples, not engaged ones. Either way, the K-3 is rarely issued anymore.

You do not adjust status to a K-3 visa. You get married within 90 days of entry to the US using your K-1 visa, and then you file to adjust status to permanent residency. Hypnos kindly posted the guide for you to follow.
