I sent my Visa packet to the Dallas tx lock box thinking it would be transferred to the Vermont Service Center. My NOA1 doesn't mention of it being sent anywhere for processing. USCIS states that my application has been approved and is currently being processed. I have looked at other timelines on here and I see where others visas have been sent to Texas from Vermont for processing. My NOA1 says its from the Texas Service Center. So I am going to assume that it's still there being processed.

I assumed you sent off I-129F, am I correct?

Since you live in Florida, usually they will route the package to Texas Service Center.

Yes i sent my i129f in November, received my noa1 the first part of December. Uscis says it's processing and the alien registration number was changed. I read on here that only California and Vermont do the processing. Which confuses me because my noa1 doesn't mention transferring it to another state. At the bottom of the letter it says texas service center. I'm assuming that's where it's processing. My question is then why do people say they don't process visas?

When you read on NOA-1 it says route to Texas Service Center which means you are not being transferred as some folks here misunderstood about that.

USCIS don't process visas. They processing petition which is now you are on that stage. After USCIS approved yours then will send to NVC for more processing and forward to US consulate.

At this stage, US consulate will ask your fiancee to prepared documents for her interview to obtain her K-1 visa. Only US consulates have authority to issued/denied/revoked a visa.

If you have only received the NOA1, then you are not approved. Your application has been received, and will begin processing.

In your initial post you said it was approved, but now I see you only have the NOA1.

Average time to process is about 5 months, so sit back and relax.
