If you are referring to the USCIS website and the status of your case, I'd say its normal. Sometimes they don't update the website often especially your case status. It doesn't mean its not being processed. You may end up with an approval and it will still say Initial Review. Don't get discouraged by what the website says. Also noticed from your timeline that you just sent in your petition. The average processing time used to be closer to 6 months, so you have a bit of a wait. Expect 6 months of Initial Review, but be thrilled if you get the approval sooner.

Some people's online case status never moves from initial review, even after they are long approved. It is unreliable. Besides all that, you have just filed, so it will stay in initial review until something happens with your case, such as an approval of your petition.

~ Moved from K-1 Process to K-1 Case Filing and Progress Reports - topic is filing/case status ~

So... pretty much I just have to wait for the hard copy?

I'm expecting 6 months, but yes... sooner would be so wonderful.

Uhhmmm.... waiting continues.
