My fiancé filed his 1040 through a tax firm and they did it for him (he's employed). They provide a copy for download online of his latest 1040 and he downloaded this and sent this to me. The form had a big "Just a copy" watermarked on all the pages. I assume this is because the original was sent to IRS. Is this downloaded copy with this "just a copy" watermark sufficient to be submitted for my embassy interview? Thanks so much!!

Yes, the embassy will accept that. In 2011 during my hubby's interview, he provided his petitioner's ITR and W2 book from H&R Block and it also has a "copy" watermark all over it but it was accepted by the consul.

Mine goes like this too and I had no issues. And similar to Apple21, my fiance's 1040 was also filed to IRS by H&R Block, with watermark " COPY ONLY DO NOT FILE" on all pages. Good luck! :)

Yup, totally fine. He will need to send you a copy of his W-2 also.
