thank you all for the replies on my post. just an update:

eversince we were "issued" on ceac website, ive been monitoring the ustraveldocs website to see when my passport leaves the embassy. until now it shows "passport has been received from the consular...." so i decided to check 2go website using my UID number... and there it says my passport is available for pick up since yesterday. whew! now im not saying all cases are the same but i urge everyone to not just rely on the ustraveldocs website. thanks!

Thanks for the tip Kreese! Very useful--to think i was expecting 2Go to supposedly text us when passport is ready for pick-up. That was strange but good to know! Good thing you thought of that! Congratulations! Must be a great feeling! Can't wait for mine!

Kreese, i know this is late but this is just an FYI for those who might come across this post--i was in the CFO seminar with spouses and fiances without the passport and visa yet, I on the other hand, took it a day before my interview. You can take the seminar even without it (visa or passport) yet and get the CFO sticker at the airport from 5am-12midnight at the terminal (NO NEED to go back to CFO again for the sticker)--you will have to call this number to schedule them to be there for you to give you the CFO stickers right before your flight: (+632)8795685 look for Ms Lita, Mr Mario or Mr Eric. They'll gladly meet you at the airport to give you the CFO sticker after proving attendance (by presenting to them your guidance and counselling /PDOS certificate plus photocopy, along with the Filled-out CFO registration form). If anyone decides to take this route like I did, you can ask your counselor during the seminar for more info. :-) Edited by RedPepper

Hi all :)

I got interviewed today. Filipino consul told me that I have to get a another cenomar coz the one that NSO gave me did not include my father's name. When I got to the American consul he asked me a few questions and then told me those are all the questions he had for me, and that I just need to submit another cenomar. But he said everything else looks ok to him (with a generous smile) :) So I went straight to NSO and filed for another cenomar. Praying everything goes well. Does anyone have a similar experience and how long did it take to get your visa? Thanks so much!

Congratulations! Finally! After all the wait! Hehehe!

Well, looks like Jane21 answered your question. it took her approx 7 days for a visa issue. Our 221g cases are pretty easy, so I think ours won't take long either! Good luck and God bless!

what is UID number? hehe

Unique Identification Number--i am not sure if thats the number you get with your NOA1 or NOA2...right before you got your case number? Or that is the tracking proforma number given to you by the courier to trace your passport? Hehehe we had better check. Lol

But i think to track your visa through 2Go, it works well just supplying your case number or passport number on their tracking facility on their website.

Hi all, I don't need to bring the St. Luke's CD to my embassy interview right? I know that based on what I've read I really don't, but I just want to make super super sure, thanks so much!

No one asks for the CD, it is just a pics from the xrays. Wife still has hers somewhere.

Hi nilo jayr, parang hindi 221g yung tawag sa case ko? Parang they didn't tell me that and they didn't give me ang paper with 221 g in it. Reverification request lang binigay sa akin for NSO.

221g or not--the important thing is wala naman ibang hinanap sa iyo, your passport is with them and you're done with the interview! Congratulations pa rin kasi your visa should be on the way anytime soon! Yey!!! Excited for you, too!
