We signed and dated every single page we filed. It's not too much and definitely safe. If needing signature and unsigned, RFE/reject but if not needing signature and signed, no harm.

I just spoke with one of the counselors out in San Diego at easyvisa.com, and he said he'd never heard of the G-325B form, before. (but, yes,... there is one! and it's two pages long.) And, he said yes, he actually works on cases. (so, ... he should know.)

And, he said yes! the price has come down to $350.00.

Unbelievable.

And, so that must be why (he also confessed) times from sending in initial paperwork to the time of interview is running about 7 months (to Colombia/usa), even though he admitted they 'say' 5-7 months.

And, if there is no requirement for the G-325B, then... that eliminates my last concern posted at the bottom of the post just above this one.

There is a G-325B form, however you do not need this form until you receive your package from the embassy. For the initial filinig of the I-129f both parties need to submit the G-325A. All male beneficiaries are required to submit an additional form, the G-325B. This infomration will be required from the embassy and sent in the package that is sent to the fiance beneficiary in their home country.

I got an RFE on 04/05/2011 because I forgot to include passport photos of myself, the petitioner. I went and got them taken, printed my a# and my name on the back of each one with PENCIL(!!!!) and mailed them off the same day. I'm thankful that it was something that simple.

We received an RFE on April 1 asking for evidence of divorce from my X wife.

The marriage license shows her married name prior to me and then her married name as my last name.

The divorce decree shows only her married name same as mine.

Not sure what I can do here but I sent them the marriage license and the divorce decree again.

I got an email RFE today!!! Is there anyway I can find out what it's for before I receive the hardcopy?

Also, my fiance is in Canada, they never stamped my passport when i traveled over there, so i didn't include copies of my passport. Does anyone know if that might be what the RFE is for? THANKS!

There is no way to find out until you get the hardcopy. Did you send in a copy of your birth certificate instead of your passport? What other proof of having met did you submit?

Yes, I did include my birth certificate (even the page with my footprints). And as for evidence, I Included EVERYTHING: hotel receipts, dinner receipts, movies, credit card statements, about 10 pictures (with date and location written on the back), email conversations, skype calls list. We even got notarized letters from friends and neighbors admitting we have a relationship and plan to marry when she comes to the us. I'm pretty sure it's going to be something extremely lame.

What's frustrating is that we are on a time crunch, we really want to have the wedding in September, because October-Dec i'm going to be really busy with work. And other people in Nov received their NOA2 the same day I got my RFE. That means they could have approved ours as well...

But I am grateful that ours was touched, I know other people in that have Sept NOA1s are still waiting, so I wish the best of luck to them, and patience to us all!

Does the application stay with the same person while they await the return of what ever the request is for?

Does it go back in the stack for handling at a much later date?

The congressional reply dated yesterday says that they do not have the returned documentation but that it may be in the mail room awaiting to be matched to the case file. I sent the senator the delivery confirmation when I received it so I know they have it some where.

This to me is invalid as the RFE is the top sheet in the returned packet.

The receipt number was on the Fed EX packet.

How long does it take for the case to be worked on again.

The RFE form says 60 days - I sure hope not.

Usually, it goes back to the same person though the order it'll be worked on can vary depending on the adjudicator. Apparently some adjudicators like to tackle all the RFE replies on one particular day, or before they start regular petitions or whatever - but if it's a matter of a 'simple' RFE with a straightforward reply, it really shouldn't take 60 days...unless your particular adjudicator went on a two week holiday the day your stuff was received, for example...

I got the RFE in the mail! (i think that was pretty quick compared to other people's timelines).

Apparently my birth certificate wasn't issued by the correct authority to prove that i'm a USC. They want more proof. I'll just copy my passport and send it back to them.

I used Fed - Ex with a signature required so that I had a tracking Number and could see the signature online as soon as delivered.

UPS can also do this but USPS (snail mail) mails the signature to yur home address.
