Can anyone please tell me what forms beside I-751 needs to be file after marriage? My fiancee and I our getting married 1/13/07 so we would like to be well prepared. If anyone can give us some guidance what to do after marriage it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Mailed I-129F Packet 1/17/06 to TSC registered express mail. Was transfered to Cali.

Received 1/19/06.

Received Signed Return Receipt 1/22/06.

Check Cashed 1/27/06

Received NOA1 today 1/30/06 :-)

Received E-mail from USCIS Petition was approved on April 13, 2006

Received in the mail April 17,2006 NOA2

Received from NVC 5/4/06 Approval Notice. Petition was being forward to the Embassy in Manila :-)

Fiancee Received Packet 3 and Packet 4 together. She is to fill out Packet 3 and bring with her to the Visa Interview. Medical Exam scheduled for (8/30/06) and Interview Date (9/6/06) We are on our way.

You are waaaaay ahead there, the I-751 isn't even filled out til you've fulfilled the conditional GC which is for two years. You need to have a gander at the guides. They will tell you what to do next.

You wont file I-751 until nearly 2 years after getting the green card.

You file I-485:

Apply for:

- Adjustment of Status (AOS) - to get your conditional 2-year green card

- Employment Authorization Document (EAD) - to get a work permit so you can work while waiting for your green card

- Social Security Number (SSN) - needed to open a bank account (in some cases), for employment (once you have your EAD), etc.

- Advance Parole (AP) - to get travel authorization so you can travel outside of the US while waiting for your green card
