Hi evryone!

My lawyer filled out my ds260 online but my passport number is incorrect. This got me worried as im scared i will be denied my permanent residency. He said only the interviewer can correct it. I would like to know if anybody has had this experience. What should I do ?

Thank you.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Have you already submitted your IV package? A photocopy of your passport is included in the IV package for NVC to see, so, you can call them, confirm if they already have your IV package and ask if they can correct or grant you access to edit the error on the DS260.

If not, you can inform the consul during your interview.
