Spouse interview at London Embassy after medical. Who arranges it?

My DH had his medical on the 9th Dec and we completed the Submission of The Notification of Applicant Readiness online. Do we just sit back now and wait for a letter via mail to tell us when the interview in London is?

Can anyone advice the 'about' time it is taking from the day London Embassy are getting the medical until the interview is?

They are supposed to send a letter. Guessing...late January interview.

Do you have a cheap OR free way to call the US?

Call DOS weekly. They will know your date as soon as it is assigned. London has been screwed up of late and aren't sending the letters promptly or at all. People are finding out their interview is in a few days or yesterday when they waited and waited the suggested (by London) 6 weeks to get their letter.

Yes, you MUST call DOS weekly at least so as to get the date and not miss your interview. Many posters here have missed theirs while waiting for mail that never arrives.

Can you also call the DOS to enquire about a case number? Most people are receiving their case number a few days to 2 weeks from their approval date in London but we have been waiting 5 weeks for our case number!

2013-22-05: Sent I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

2013-10-06: NOA1 received - Petition at Overland Park, Kansas

2013-11-12: Email stating our I-130 has been transferred to a local USCIS Office

2013-13-12: Email stating our I-130 was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office

Have now decided to do DCF through the London Embassy:

2013-22-10: Overnighted a second I-130 to London

2013-24-10: NOA1

2013-21-11: Letter requesting that we cancel our I-130 petition filed in the U.S.

2013-09-12: NOA2
