i wanted to do my part, even though I am fresh at this stage of the game but I feel for so many struggling and patiently waiting. besides emailing, faxing, etc, I started a site where you can share your story and hopefully, forward it to whomever so they see people behind the numbers.

Any advice or suggestions are welcome. :-)

That's awesome, except for one thing. The current immigration reform proposals do not address our situations at all. I support immigration reform, tbh. But what they're proposing does not fix the current broken system nor offer any real solutions, transparency, nor accountability, regardless of what the politicians are saying about it. If we don't fix the current system, any attempt at implementing what they are suggesting, again, imo, will be an unmitigated disaster. If they throw millions more people at the current system, it's going to be a cluster .

I agree with what you're saying but it seems to me that her point is that so-called "immigration reform" is ignoring us entirely. With the House taking up reform in pieces, I think this is actually the best bet for us to get some change. Like it or not immigration "reform" seems to have all the political stars aligning for it so if we want change our best hope is to hook our wagon up to theirs.
