Timeline

My wife just finished the biometrics for I-765. We also received another biometrics for I-485. Is this necessary? Can't they use the same data from I-765?

Also, what happens after I-765 biometrics? Is there an interview like the I-485?

Yes, there will be a biometrics for each step of the USCIS process(es). There was for my gal. As for the interview, it depends... For example, I have read where persons have had an interview at each step of the USCIS process(es). But, my gal had no interviews all the way to her ROC and her next step is citizenship and there definitely will be an interview for her at this stage. It is always best ot prepare for an interview...
