I have a friend who is trying to adjust her status. She is in the process of filing and was asked to proved proof of a bonafide marriage. She is not working because the husband did not want her to work. They do not share a bank account and her name is not on any of the bills. Does anyone have any suggestions on what evidence she can send to prove her marriage is legitimate??

which visa did she use to enter the USA, prior to marriage ?

It would be easier to answer your question with Darnell's question? What type of Visa.

None-the-less a AOS question.

It will seem HIGHLY odd not to have Joint Bank Accounts, Lease or Rental Agreements in both names. A life Policy or Something.

If your friend has a bonifide relationship she can prove something.

If I were the Beneficiary and The Petitiioner now my husband did'nt put me on paperwork I would be disappointed and so will USCIS.

So, I suggest get her on as much paperwork as posible.

1/15-16/14.. 2nd Medical exam updated
1/21/14...... k1 interview-Visa Approved

8/29/14...... Submitted AOS application
10/03/14.....Biometrics
01/07/15.....Received my EAD card

01/31/15..... I got my SSN from the mail

04/20/15......AOS Interview - Approved :star:

4/24/15 .......Got the Driving Permit Card

4/30/15 .......Green Card Received :) (Exp.4/20/17)
