Are these not the same locations? I got my petition expedited due to being in the affected area of the Philippine Typhoon. I got this in the email today. I have not had anyone check my mail in the states yet for instructions on what to do next. They say Dept of State or NVC so seems as if 2 options. The email did not give a phone # for the Dept of State. Thanks for any info!

Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Your Case Status: Post Decision Activity

On November 25, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.

sorry,

expedites in the process are per place.

uscis is one place

nvc is another place

iv unit in Manila is another place.

So, the expedite at USCIS was granted and you got some notice about it. GREAT !

Next is casefile movement into NVC.

Once NVC has it, they still have to log it into their system

usually, when the petitioner has the AOS FEE BILL in their email INBOX - is best to request the expedite with NVC then, at that timetick.

---

for now, chase down the casefile movement from USCIS to NVC, asking a USCIS ISO (via telephone) when the casefile physically left a USCIS office.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
