Is there a pre-registration form that can be filled out prior to attending the CFO seminar for K1 visa holders? Aside from the 2 government issued / photograph ID requirements, would there be anything that my fiancée should be bringing to the seminar.

Would the one on one sessions with the counselor be different for those who already have visas on hand than those that haven't gone to their interview? We made a mistake for not getting more copies of the birth certificate and Cenomar. I read that some were requested to provide copies of it. Wouldn't it be academic that if a visa was issued that these documents were presented and therefore been verified to be correct?

Thanks !

Its a good thing that my fiancee called the St Mary Center in Aurora Blvd and found out that the seminar were no longer conducted on the this location as well as the other one that still on their website were posted as CFO locations. I was fuming at the incompetence of this agency. it doesn't take weeks to update a page. Whats the point of a website if information is incorrect to begin with?

instead of accomodating 30 people per day between the two previous locations, now they inconvenience Filipinos by cutting the number in half. Its not that the so called services were free, we freaking pay for this . What about those that came from outside of metro manila. What if they didnt make the cutoff?

This is the government at its best. Instead of making things easier for their citizens, they make it more difficult

St. Mary in Quezon city no longer operates.

Requirements are the same with or without the visa. The requirements ,however , vary as to who your councilor is. There might be a chance that they won't require your birth certificate. If you really can't get it then just try going with it and don't volunteer the fact that you don't have it. You might still want to get one even if the CFO won't require you any as it will be handy when she comes to the US. :)

Pre-registration is not required but with limited seating be sure to show up early as I have heard lines start forming very early in the morning. You do not need a visa to attend but you will need your valid passport. If you do not have your visa when you attend you will need to return once you do have your visa to avail yourself of the sticker. You will need two government issued id's for the interview. More information on Hank_s trusty link as well as on the CFO website. Good luck

(btw if you are on a K1 visa and have a son or daughter who are K2's they will not be able to take the seminar till they are issued a visa).

CFO website does not list St. Mary's or PRISM, hasn't for years.

They show two locations, one in Manila, the other in Cebu

http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1345&Itemid=843

Manila accommodates 30 people a day, 15 in the morning, 15 in the afternoon, Cebu only does 12 per day, this info on their website also.

No preregistration is not required for the seminar, as the form that have online is not for the seminar.

Like said though, show up early as seating is limited.

Later when you go back to get the sticker, completing the online form will help for that.

Your post is a first for hearing about CFO accepting 60 people per day, that info is not posted on their website either.
