My F is finally back in the Philippines and I am preparing to submit the I-129F petition.

I'm just totally confused with the whole "A-number".

I received my citizenship back in 1988 when I was just 5 years old. So I have the certificate of citizenship. There are two numbers..

a) A# certificate number and b) A# INS registration number.

Since I'm a citizen now for the past 25 years, do I need to include this in my petition?

And on for G-325a, what does "File Number, A" mean??

My F is finally back in the Philippines and I am preparing to submit the I-129F petition.

I'm just totally confused with the whole "A-number".

I received my citizenship back in 1988 when I was just 5 years old. So I have the certificate of citizenship. There are two numbers..

a) A# certificate number and b) A# INS registration number.

Since I'm a citizen now for the past 25 years, do I need to include this in my petition?

And on for G-325a, what does "File Number, A" mean??

My now husband was also from PI, came here when he was 5, got naturalized, and now has been living in the US for 19years.

We used his CTS registration number for the A# and the number above the CTS Registration no. for his number of certificate. These are found in the certificate of citizenship.

I do think you need those number in filling up your I-129F. Currently, your fiancee doesn't have an A# so leave that blank when filling up her paper work.

Hope this helps.

CTS and INS is that the same?

My certificate of citizenship has 2 numbers on it.

1. certificate number

2. INS registration number

Why couldn't they simplify these forms. ahhhh...
