You all are so funny!! It hasn't even gotten cold.... yet!! blink.pnglaughing.gif

My thoughts also go to she's in Virginia where it really doesn't get cold from a Minnesota point of view. BTW it was 12 degrees on my way to work this morning and the fall jacket was officially retired for the season here.

Don't worry ladies, it's not as bad as you think. Here's my wife Jena during her first winter in Illinois. Ask you husband to buy lots of skin lotion and if that doesn't help, get a humidifier. For the cold, Cuddl Duds brand long underwear are great.

Its funny how they don't feel the cold during that first snow. But after that .....

Here is my wife outside a snowstorm. This was the storm I taught her winter driving skills in, and there hasn't been a worse one since. We did have to wait until our driveway got plowed out though, as the snow was too deep to get her car through. Even my Durango struggled a bit, but it was impossible for her Escort. In the background you can see a neighbor returning home, who wouldn't attempt the drive in with their SUV. They stayed out where the street had been plowed.

Kev - ain't it great being married to a model who looks as good in the snow as she does inside?

Her first winter in Alaska, Roxane went out on the back deck in her nightie once to pose for a crazy pic. It wasn't snowing, but it was -35°...

Babeej, is your hair messing up too? Kinda stringy, and hard to keep it straight and silky? If so, you guys might have hard water, which can cause skin and hair problems. A water softener can help with that. I had to do that for Roxy, cuz we had water that was about 10 gpg of hardness. After that, her hair and skin got better fast.

If your hair is ok, then it's probably just the weather messing with your skin. Lotion every day...

Luckily I already had a water softener here as the water is closer to liquid rock without one.. :)

Hunter high and low for a lotion that actually worked, went through all the fancy brands until finally found that Burt's Bees works great.

Yes it does. As does Bag Balm. But I prefer Johnson's baby lotion, cuz: A) It's cheap, and 2) It smells good.

I be kinda sensitive to fragrances. R likes Nivea, it isn't greasy and has almost no after-taste.

Yup, know all about being sensitive to fragrances, have the same issue... those stinky candles don't come in the door without out going right out the back door ;)

I really don't notice a fragrance that bothers me with the Burt's but what I do notice is it keeps her skin soft for a couple days without applying more, daily showers and all... and let me tell you Arizona gives new meaning to DRY.

I will keep the others in mind.
