how long will it take for K1 visa to be issued after the interview in Abu Dhabi US Consulate?

Hi, I am going to have my K1 interview in Abu Dhabi US Consulate on dec 11. I wonder how long will it take until they issue my k1 visa after my interview? I am getting married on April 5, 2014. anyone who has been in the same situation, i would appreciate your feedback. thank you so much! :)

Another question, I noticed that my DS 156k will expire on Nov. 30, 2013. but my interview is on Dec. 11, 2013.

How is that? Where can I get the updated DS 156k? sad.png

No, my then finace, now husband was in Abu Dhabi. I am not sure about the expiring form, maybe complete a new one?

Hi, I am planning to resign this month.. do you think it would be fine so that i could still finish my one month grace period? are you also from Dubai?

Hmm, dont put all your eggs in one basket. although the UAE is known for approvals, you never know what may happen. best to wait until visa is granted to quit work.
