just got off the phone with the us embassy call center. i am ok if i sched the kids separately as like follow to join peeps do.

and the lady said i am fine to proceed with the sched i have even if i have not received elig notice from embassy, if i get there and the file aint there yet, they'd just ask me to resched. i dont know when tho or if they'd give me a spec sched to go back.

wish me luck tomorrow guys:(

Well that was stupid on their part.

Are you going to bring your kids with you to the interview?

Ya know, if it were me, I would bring the kids.... just saying. Their files are with your file.

Bring their BPI receipt and deposit receipt and the confirmation for the DS-160 (and of course their passports). I think it would be worth the gamble to see if the CO will do all together... what is the worse that can happen? You have to bring them back. What is the best that can happen? You can cancel two later appointments. wink.png

You can bring someone along to assist with the children.

im sure you are dying to hear what the hell happened.goofy.gif

well first off, it turned out when i talked to the Filipino CO during the initial interview that i COULD bring the two kids with me and be interviewed together even if we have different slots. it would have been nice to know that earlier :cray5ol.gif anyhow, i was given the option to put off the interview so we can get interviewed all at the same time next week but i opted to go ahead with it since i was already there.

the lady US CO was very nice and asked me the most dreaded Q....why was it i said on my tourist visa app that i was married when i was already annulled. I explained and she was nodding....then asked my fiance's work....i told her he takes away homes for a living and she cracked up:)

and i basically breezed thru the rest and i was surprised when she said IM APPROVED!!!!! and i have not been asked any of the evidences i was clutching heavily on the side table....sleepy.gifsleepy.gif

what a waste if i followed greenbaum's idea to back up a truck load of emails at the embassy groundsidea9dv.gif

but the filipino CO said we should have filled out the affidavit of support with "intend to make specific contributions" .Hank? care to comment on this?

We shall see what happens with the kids' interview later....wish me luck again:) Thanks to everyone that helped outluv.gifluv.gifluv.gifluv.gif
