I'm going with Hank on this one. good.gif Do what you are doing, a sampling just like Hank said and if the CO ask for those, then present them for their review. If the CO is not satisfied then you can explain that you have more but backing up a truck to the USEM would not be wise. rofl.gif

They never asked for chat logs from us, as I was there for the interview and we were never asked for pictures of our relationship and very few questions. But, if you go alone without him, then I suggest you put your efforts into your pictures showing your relationship. It helps to have other family members in the picture with you and your fiancée and also if you have a big family gathering then be sure to include those. They like to see that it is you and he, but also he has made a connection to your family. Don't go overboard.... usually about 15-25 pictures will get your point across nicely.

Relax and keep asking questions "we" will get you through this.

Good luck

thanks for the great tips greenbaum:)luv.gif id let you know who won the bet:) can anyone tell me what chance i have at passing the interview?

I would only select one email from each of the earlier years and maybe one email from each month for 2013. (and for the fun of betting, I am betting the CO won't ask for copies of your emails but will want to see a few pictures of you two together. Keep me posted on this one wink.pngsmile.png )

alright then...id let you know how it turns out...but i cant seem to find an earlier slot....this is the biggest hurdle!!!! there is something really odd tho hank!!!

you see, when i checked the ceac website today, it says the status is now READY!!!! and i was jumping with joy as i recall, that means the embassy already received our physical file, right? but then when i called up the embassy to confirm, the lady told me it hasnt been received yet and still on its way and told me to try calling after 3 weeks....they did confirm that NVC sent it on November 14. I need your two cents on this...whats up???? if you have any ideas greenbaum, im all ears too:)

It's just your electronic files that manila got. the physical files takes roughly 2-3 weeks from when NVC sent them to reach Manila. Your CEAC status will update one more time when your physical files get here.

As was said it can take between 2 & 3 weeks for the file to reach Manila once it actually ships. I usually suggest to schedule the interview about 4 weeks out from when the file ships from NVC as it is fairly certain the file will be ready by then.

Earliest interview dates I read of being available right now are the middle of January, all December dates are gone (unless someone cancels, but don't know that I would be holding my breath waiting to catch one of those). Delay scheduling long enough and you will be looking at February.

You don't have to wait to for the embassy to confirm the file is there before scheduling, you just need to schedule far enough out to allow for it to arrive at USEM

YOU ARE REALLY THE MAN HANK!!! It was like that... i read your email this early morning and lo and behold when i got back today from work, i checked the yahoo mail for possible notices while talking to my fiance who is half asleep...and there it was!!!!

From NVC-

Also, please be sure to notify the U.S. Embassy or Consulate of any change of address, e-mail address or personal situation that may affect the applicant's eligibility for an immigrant visa.

Please visit www.usembassy.gov to determine the contact information for the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in MANILA,PHILIPPINES . The Embassy or Consulate website will include contact information for visa related inquiries.

you know what is funny tho, my fiance wont believe it and was looking for the email from NVC to him giving him instructions....and i told him, this is it! and he doesnt feel trusting anymore and so i told him to check the CEAC website and it also shows the file is in transit.

now the only problem we have is to schedule an earlier appt!!!! as right now it is at january 14!!!!! we are looking at getting married this year!!! oh well, i will try requesting for an earlier appt if i can...and if not, id just try and make it as a chance passenger of a bus or plane and hope against hope that someone cancels their appt so i can sched mine:)

To all of you who cared to post and give me some sort of comfort and hope....i am deeply indebted...i owe you guys my sanity...thanks for all the inspiring words....i really appreciate it VJ members... Good luck to everyone else waiting...

i am just so ecstatic:)luv.gifluv.gifluv.gifluv.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifhttp://static-forums.visajourney.com//public/style_emoticons/default/dancin5hr.gif%C2'>

Thank you Lord! and thanks VJ peeps for all the words of encouragement and patience:)

Congratulations!!!!

Now it's finally time to rock and roll. :)

Keep checking every day every few hours for that earlier time slot. Not only would a December flight get you together in time for Christmas, but your fiance can save thousands of dollars in 2013 taxes if you get married at the end of this year instead of early January. It's the reason we moved our wedding date from Jan 1 to Dec 27. :)

Email the embassy to confirm they have it. They will reply in a week. I did that, as well as made sure they had my medical results matched up with it since we did the medical before they received the petition.

Exactly Leon. when do u think is the best time for me to check online? i am having a tough time as there is a maximum number of times to view the sched calendar page. i also found out when i called up the call center for appt assistance that even tho i included the two kids on my profile, we would still need 3 slots to sched an interview together. so i removed them both and created separate profiles for them. that way, i can chance on earlier appts and just nab them for each one of us once i see an opening...yeah it sucks that id have to go to the embassy 3x but it is fairly smaller a sacrifice than paying thousands of dollars for taxes for my fiance. i was able to find an earlier appt for my son as i was finishing up his profile and i had to think long and hard about it and decided, oh what the heck, if i dont sched this, someone else will before i can switch to my own profile...so i got it and hopefully in the upcoming days, id chance upon some other earlier slots that no one needed at the time....praying hard as always...but if it doesnt happen, i am fine...i lifted everything up to God.

Thy will be done....

No you DO NOT create separate profiles for your K2 children. When you schedule your interview you will be asked if you want to schedule another, this is when you do your children's... they will have the same slot as you.
