I know I am resurrecting a dead thread but this provided really good insight for me right now. I am getting ready to go overseas with my wife under orders so I am trying to make her a citizen before we go to the MENA region.

This is definitely the route to go. Just do your best to emphasize 319b because the first time I sent it, it was returned because the receiving officer didn’t have a clue what it was and didn’t even look it up. Returned my packet because I didn’t t meet the normal time requirements. But under 319b we did. Any way. Goodluck on your journey. I posted as much info as I could regarding the steps I took and my progress. Goodluck.
