Going to the DOS building would not help at all. They would just tell you that your case was in AP. The actual file is in Pakistan. You would get the same information that they give on the phone.

i know all this is frustrating for you all. we were not denied at the interview, we waited patiently in AP for 18 months before our case was returned to USCIS for revocation which simply means that the embassy couldn't deny the visa instead they wanted our petition approval reversed. Once we submitted all our evidence they reaffirmed us within two weeks. We are now back in AP at the embassy waiting again. This is our life right now, the waiting and hoping and praying it's all we can do. Stay strong and focused and this too will end.

Ps please change our status to returned to USCIS for revocation March 7th 2013/reaffirmed sept 20th 2013 (this will also help others understand as they go thru the same thing)

I am sorry if this caused any misunderstanding, this is the best i could do with all the info out there.

It is seriously frustrating as we didn't get any ap before and after 14 months wait our case in ap since Aug 30 2013 and they didn't change our status on ceac website and they first write return to nvc now since they receive our the day when they receive our file from that day till today they write return and when i call to dos they and mail from embassy by it self tell us that our case is in ap but they didn't change the status. And now i am thinking that i see lot of people get status change but they didn't touch any reaffirmed case why ? i dont know and i agree with you EAbbas.

i think reaffirmed cases are on least priority, they will check when they have time and i don't think so they are going to take out time that easily unless they are hammered some how , but again its embassy no body can ask them ?
