hello to evryone,

My interview for K1 Visa has been done recently, everything went smoothly until the CO asked me the copy of divorce paper of my fiance. My fiance has been divorce since 1989 and he lost the copy. Our problem now is he cant find his copy and even the court where he filed the divorce didnt find thier copy. Anyone with the same problem? Please us the best thing we can do?

The copy of the final divorce should be available from the court where the divorce court was or the court that replaced it. Divorce papers are a matter of public record and you can order a new copy. Claiming the court can't find it is a little fishy. The local court here has copies of divorces from over 30 years ago. Are you sure your fiance really got divorced ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
