Hi

Me and my dad applied for a b2 visa, we had our interview on the 16th of July, and after constantly checking the CEAC website, our case status was changed to ''Administrative Processing'' on the 29th of August, and then my dad's status was changed to ''Issued'' 2 days later and he picked his visa up 20 days later, and until now mine is still in ''Administrative processing'', my dad will be traveling soon, anyways, i'd love to travel along with my dad, so we can come back together.

now should i be worried? how long will my visa is going to last in ''Administrative processing''? Is there chance of getting denied at this point?

i am 19 years old if that's gonna help.

And based on your personal experience how long did yours last in administrative processing? (For non-immigrants only)

Thank you very much.

There's no timeframe as harsh said, but administrative processing for tourist visas is *usually* shorter than for immigrant visas. The visa can be refused or revoked at any point, but it is unlikely unless they get a name hit or find something disturbing.

Administrative processing is quite common for young males in with middle eastern names.
