Hi Forum members I had my wife's case completed on 4th October 2013. I was wondering what would be realistic time frame to receive a IL and will the interview date be sometime in December 2013. Interview will be in London Embassy.

Is she on the F2A category (Spouse of LPR)?

Thanks cathy.

I guess it takes around 2 months from case complete to visa in hand. It would be nice to spend the xmass as a family.

Well in my case it was only six weeks but as I said, time frames change according to workload for one factor. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

You can check more recent timelines here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=a&op2=d&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=All&op66=All&op7=United%20Kingdom&dfile=No&adv= Remember to set the UK filter which is underneath the chart. I imagine that by the time you are at case complete there won't be much difference between F2A and IR1/CR1 categories. There is a similar chart for F2A but it only has three entries for the UK.
