Hi, my partner and I have sent in the paperwork for myself (English) to marry my partner in the states. He has since come to visit me for a few months and I have just found out I am a few weeks pregnant. Out paperwork is still in the states and is chugging along and so far no hiccups.

My question is what do I do now? Do I need to inform someone? I read all kinds of from him needing to write a letter to say he still wants to marry me - if so who do we send the letter to? The immigration services in the states or here in the UK to needing DNA testing.

I have read that being pregnant makes no difference and that it depends on when and where the kid is born. What I cannot seem to find is an official link to what to do now.

If any one has had this problem or can point me in the right direction I would be most obliged.

Kind regards

Makes no difference. The kid will be a USC at birth and will need a US passport to travel. Congrats!

This is correct. I am in the same situation. My fiancé is 27 weeks pregnant and I'm waiting on NVC to issue me a case number. Hopefully all works out for both of us and the babies will be born in the U.S.
