I am wondering does my wife need to obtain a CFO cert.

I read about people filing a K-1/K-2 needing one. I just want to make sure. Anyone with knowledge please let me know.

Did she attend PDOS at CFO to update her passport to her married name? If yes, then she should have a certificate for attending and that will get her the sticker required for exiting the country. If no. Then she will have to attend CFO.

There is info in my link below on CFO.

Hi Good Day I would just like to ask if the A-number in the Immigrant Data Summary (the one attached to the visa packet) and the CFO Emigrant No. (the one glued to the passport) is really different? Or should they be the same. I have been trying to call and I had e-mailed the CFO office but; phone is busy and there's no reply in my e-mail. PLS Help. Thank you!

It doesn't matter... no one cares. Relax. Forget about the number on the CFO sticker.

You have your CFO sticker, you have your visa.... you are good to go!!!! Enjoy your fligh!
