Hi guys I just got me hard copy of RFE on Monday 9/23 requesting a translated copy of my divorce. I was living with my fiance in Dominican Republic when my ex husband decided we can finalize our separation, since he is also Dominican we decided to do it there. I received text message that USCIS received it yesterday 9/26. Has any one had an RFE for translation and if so how long to get your NOA2???? Just wondering unsure.png

Not sure but I hope you did'nt put that you were living with your current fiance before sepration/divorce was finalized with your EX because you might contradict yourself, they might look at it as infidelity.

No I was legally seperated for over a yr. Our divorce was by mutual consent and the reason that we seperated was because he was unfaithful... but GOD has a reason for all he does and when I was hurting the most I met my soul mate... we have been together for about 4 yrs now.

Oh ok, am glad you found your soul mate and hope you get your NOA2 soon. Its hard being apart from that special someone in your life.

I never thought this would be this hard since we have been used to the distance and made the best of it... but now it is unbearable... but thanks for your best wishes and I wish you the best in life as well.

I know it can be exasperating but hang in there!!! Soon you should have your NOA2 in hand. For what I have seen once they receive what they need they review it and send out the approval. And then you'll be off to NVC.

I wish all the best!
