looked online at the CEAC website....we changed to ""ISSUED""---"VISA IN FINAL PROCESSING"

Now...it also states that if we don't receive the visa within 10 days after the interview, to call the embassy.

Questions:

They don't specify 10 ""business"" days........but I imagine it must be since right now we are 8 days since the interview. There is NO WAY we could expect the package in 2 days.....NOTHING in the Philippines gets done THAT quickly haha...

Nothing showing on the 2Go site....not with case # nor UIC # nor passport # ("""number is invalid")

SOOO....what has been anyone else's experience when the message changed to "ISSUED & final processing"...when did their package then arrive? She is in Capiz province

How often does 2Go actually have info available prior to delivery (I heard some say the get the package and nothing ever shows on the 2GO website)

Timeline:

Dec. 18, 2012--NVC received our package--NOA1

May 24, 2013--Letter received informing case moved from Vermont to Texas

July 24, 2013--Letter issued, NOA2, MNL case number assigned

Aug. 27-28--Medical at St Lukes

Aug. 29, 2013--4 hour course at CFO (visa stamp to get later)---bribery took place as is somewhat customary!

Sept. 17, 2013--Interview...Amercian consular very nice--says "congratulations" to my baby...she passed

Sept. 25, 2013--CEAC website changes case from "Administration Processing" to "ISSUED"..."in final processing"----WHOOOOHOOOO!

SOON----fly to manila...next day go to CFO for stamp---the following day....FLY TO THE BIG APPLE and see the fall foliage in full swing (and she will freeze of course..hahaha)

Issuance is not approval at the interview. Issuance is after the final review and all is good, which can be a few days/weeks later.

The visa is probably only a few days away now!!

Congrats!!! :dancing:

Ya I know... everyone texts, my wife is amazingly fast at it.... just not me.

As for when your fiancee with get the text... unknown.

Keep checking tracking, once it leaves the post then start checking the 2GO tracking (in my link)
