I know that in Iraq it does take longer for us embassy to approve everything due to all the issues that are going on, is what I was told. I have been waiting for my fiancé for about a year now.I'm sure it's probably same for Kuwait as every Mid East country, which I think is wrong that everyone is penalized in some way for things our loved ones aren't even associated with. Normal AP is usually 60 days, but often times is longer. I would give them a call if it's been over 3 months.

thats true, I know Mid East countries problems but it seems that even in kuwait its taking longer time than other ME contries.

Hello all,

Yes it seems as though the embassy in kuwait is taking very long. It has been almost 13 months since my husband's visa case has been in AP. We submitted the passport in July and have not received any reply to our emails since then. the only update we got was a change of date on the CEAC website. AP 23, Aug. 2013... we r still waiting. Hopefully the embassy gets to work and completes our cases!

"Thank you for your email.

Due to the unusually high volume of messages we are receiving every day,

inquirers can usually expect a response within 2 weeks. We apologize for

any inconvenience, and we will respond to all inquiries in the order

which they received."

I have been trying for a month, 3 weeks to get our interview. This note is the only response we get. Our K-1 Petition expires Nov 18, I hope they will extend it. As you all know you are supposed to give a 3 month notice of leave before you leave your job. We are not going to make that now.

I am US Contractor, trying to get my Romanian Nurse home to US and marry her. At least I get to see her often, and talk every day.

Hello,

The first thing we did is send an E-Mail based on the DS-3032 to NVC and declared me her agent, it seems if you format the request based on the form they will accept it.

I called and called till I got the Case Number from NVC, but I decided wait get the email. She took a copy of the email to Kuwait police, with the case number and requested a police certificate, they gave it to her with no problem, she then had it translated to English.

I formatted a email based on the DS-3032 to the US Embassy Kuwait and sent To: kuwaitiv@state.gov

My case in Kuwait had been assigned to AP since July 2013, they had informed me that it need from 3 to 6 months. I was born in Kuwait and still living there as a resident , my wife is aUS citizen and she tried to get in the embassy and speak with anyone of immigration section but they had totally refused to meet her without an appointment.

AP in Kuwait is absolitly a black box, they dont provide you with enough details or status sammary regarding your case, honestly it becomes devastvated and mosrable for us as my wife is pregnant and she really needs me over there.

Anyways please guys if any of you have such experience with the US embassy in Kuwait or any feedback , please inform me
