Question about Embassy for Interview

Hey guys,

My sister is going to be lodging a I-130 petition for her husband. Her husband is currently in Australia (for school), and will be there until next year (he can get an extension if need be). Now, when she files his case, what consulate would she put down? I mean he is originally from Pakistan (has a Pakistani Passport), but lives in Australia for the time being and for the foreseeable future. On the I-130 where it asks for apply for Visa Abroad in the consulate, would she put Australia or Pakistan? He lives in Brisbane (also what city in Australia, if she puts Australia).

Would appreciate it if someone could get back to me on this, thank you in advance!

If he is planning to attend the interview in Australia and be there the whole time during the process, yes Australia. Keep and eye on the case number you get from NVC stage. Someone can make a mistake and assign a Pakistan consulate even if you put Sydney there.
