No. My answer is that these kids truly are capable, and they're smart enough to question the religious doctrine taught to them. So, when they have a chance with a computer or smart phone in their spare time, they'll look up properly proven science, and apply the knowledge they obtained by themselves to tests and the like.

I can't prove it, of course, it's just my idea. Perhaps God just injects their brain with extra-special goodness for being good believers.

I'd say that has more to do with the quality of schools than the religious part. I went from Catholic shool to public school when I went from 1st to second grade. I was 3 years ahaed of the other 2nd graders in the public school system. Had nothing to do with religion or god. It was simply a better school that happened to be run by a church.

I wouldn't disagree with that, either. There are a lot of public schools which absolutely suck. I pay $500 a month more in rent than I otherwise would need to so that my kids can go to good schools, where they'll learn English on the playground, instead of Spanish.

They are actually De-Evolving.

One of the things I am always amused at if how you people first swear the Catholics suppressed science ... and then in almost two thousand years of history of the church you always.... and only, name one misunderstood incident.
