CHEAP Hotel Near SLEC

Yes, I have looked at the pinned Hotel topic, but didn't find any cheap (less than P1500) hotels. A couple were mentioned, but when I checked their websites, they were a lot more.

Just looking for a clean room with CR. Don't need or want wifi or other extras.

Any suggestions near SLEC?

Soriento Hotel is right down the street at about 1700 pesos, and there is another one (don't know name) right across the street almost, that will be cheaper, but a shared CR. Not many others in the price range you want.

I dont understand you people. Texas obviously not interested in places that are $50 at the CHEAPEST like Lotus Hotel........... (and neither would i rather).... so why bother to suggest such places?!?!?!? That would be like me urging a dirt-poor couple to stay @ the Bellagio or Caesars Palace... They may WANT to stay there but obviously wouldn't be able to afford it!! So people lets try to be just a little bit PRACTICAL, shall we???

Anyway, Texas... ignore EVERYONE's suggestion here and even the stupid pinned post too because either everyone that posted those not "cheap" hotels love wasting extra money or no one has ever heard of the following place (i find the latter to be extremely hard to believe) that is just < 5 mins walk to Robinson's:

I think that place is EXACTLY what you're looking for......... free wifi, hot/cold shower, a/c rooms................ and before anyone tries to bash me, it's CLEAN TOO!! They also have an eatery as well & I have personally stayed there for many days with an ex-g/f........ many money changers located along the same street, 7-11, KTV, massage parlors..........

Deluxe Room (Queen bed): P1088!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (~$20....)

They even have a Standard room (single bed) for P888 and if you dont mind a fan room they have ECONOMY room for even cheaper........... again, this place blows any and all places that anyone has ever suggested out of the water.

Bughouse Master, thanks for the suggestion and link to Stargate. I will check it out.

I just don't like "wasting" money on hotels, and we will be staying 3 nights which adds up the expense.

I heard five couple stayed there and all five gave it a one star rating. If you add add those stars up it's a five star rating. I think I am starting to understand how your math and calculations work.

You know, all your little abrasive comments are just going to burn bridges with people on this forum. You already have with some who have REALLY helped a LOT of people. It is like you enjoy going through these posts and finding things to argue about! My 10 year old is going through the same phase! Now just keep chipping away at the rest of us and you will be really lucky to get ANYONE to answer your questions.
