AOS fee is still "In process" !!!!!!!!

Hi everybody!

I've read so many helpful threads in this forum, I feel like you're my technology-friends.

I just registered and this is my first time writing in here! I know for sure my questions will be overlapped, so I apologize for those who will be annoyed!

I will put my timeline in the signature in a minute.

Briefly, I applied the form I-130 for my husband, who lives in Baghdad/Iraq and works at the US embassy, on Sep/2012.

After my husband received a threat letter I requested an expedition based on extreme emergency criteria, I got the approval next day which was July 30, 2013. However, my expedite request was denied by the US embassy in Baghdad

On Sep/3/2013 I got an email from NVC asking me to pay the AOS fee $88. I did so at the same day, but it is still showing as "In process" !!! Anyhow, I shipped the AOS package on Sep/5/2013

Should I call the NVC??

Also, does anyone know approximately how long would the process take in the NVC level??

I'm dying to know how long would it take to get my husband here safe and sound

You're looking at approx (based on NVC I had today) 30 business days to review. Usually AOS are sent with a cover sheet provided by NVC, Hope this helps!

Next Step is DS-261 for choice of agent (address), this will get you the invoice for the DS-260 (IV). Everything takes 30 business days to review, I pray for less.

Also keep checking the payment portal to see it as paid. And check your bank account to make sure the funds have been removed.

Hi my AOS IS PROCESSING TOO! How long did you have to wait for PAID status? Did they confirm reciept of the AOS DOCS? I dont know if i should mail the AOS docs even though the fee still says processing?? Let me know update on your case? Thanks
