I received my packet 4 yesterday with my interview date for October 3rd. I called the NVC this morning to try to find out if our package had left the NVC for the USEM Manila yet. The rep said she saw no interview date scheduled for me and put me through to a supervisor. The supervisor told me she didn't know what had happened but she does NOT see an interview scheduled but she would call me back and let me know. Well, she just called back and said an error had been made and we DO NOT have an interview scheduled yet. Has anyone ever heard of this?????? #######. Our case was complete on August 28th, we get what we thought was good news yesterday and now we're back to waiting and the unknown.

NVC is a mess these days man. I am sick of them. They lost my documents and now they act like its was my fault. No wonder people hate government worker.

We received our interview date and packet 4 Monday. I called this morning to see if the packet had left for the Embassy and the NVC told me the appointment letter was "sent by mistake" and we DO NOT have an interview scheduled. I already booked my flights and made travel plans and changed my work schedule, now to find out "they made a mistake." No other information was offered by the NVC.

What can I do at this point? Does anyone have any experience with this? I posted something earlier about this and didn't get any advice. Can someone please help us....We are so frustrated and don't know what to do.

Thanks.

As of yesterday the 9th the number for DOS is (202)-485-7600.

Or call back NVC before they close at Midnight and talk to a tier 2 supervisor and tell them what they did and what you scheduled maybe something can be done.

Bgreen samething happened here. Received a letter dated Sept 9 for interview on Oct. 3. Then today NVC called informing me there was a mistake. No reason was given. Thinking that it might be a frank call I called NVC 603 334 0700 and US embassy in Manila and couldn't give any reason.

I did the same. Called the NVC and the Embassy. The NVC told me to email NVCEXPEDITE@state.gov and explain the circumstances. I also included a copy of my packet 4 with interview date they sent me. I am doing a Congressional on Thursday as well. Let me know how your case turns out and when you get an interview. I'll do the same. Good to know I'm not the only one.

Yeah man I will post here whatever happens. Will email them also. I believe there also others of the same fate. Good luck.

Was your case complete before September 1st? Mine was and I haven't been asked to fill out a DS-260. But when I log onto the CEAC website the DS-260 is there and says incomplete. Our case is already complete with the DS-230.

Just wondering what your situation is?

Mine was completed last July. No I did not fill up a DS260 cuz I didnt apply online. DS 230 was returned and filled the blanks. I just followed the instructions just to put my name and signature since all the data needed are on the i130. At anyrate I completed it to satisfy their ignorance of their instructions

I just called the NVC again. Still no explanation, but they did say that the schedule for October is now closed and they are waiting for November to open.

Also, here's the link about the DS-260 for the USEM Manila....http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

NVC said they do not need the DS-260 but the embassy may want it. We're just going to do it anyways to be safe.
