Divorce before ROC

I'm not an expert on ROC so I just thought I'd get some quick input from others:

We know somebody that came over on a CR1. Her two year card is up in January. Their marriage is not doing well and she's talked about divorce. I don't think she wants to go back but I don't know for sure. We'll probably ask her that next time we see her.

Their marriage is odd. She was never put on his bank account ( it's just him and his mom ). She is not on a lease or mortgage ( they live in mom's house ), They don't have anything showing mingling of finances except that when she got a job she opened a new joint account with him.

Would she be able to remove conditions after divorce considering their financials?

She's also worried that he won't help her at all in removing conditions. Will she need his cooperation in the process?

Thanks for the help.

What I've heard on the board is that the beneficiary can remove conditions on their own merit but will need to prove that the marriage was entered into in good faith.

That's what I thought, but then I was wondering how hard it will be to show good faith without the mingling of finances. She has pretty much been left off everything financially; she did however, open a joint account when she started working. That one joint account is, I think, the only thing they have that's with both of them.
