When my daughter and I went to the SSA, the guy was having issues pulling us from the SAVE database.

I mentioned to the guy that CBP sometimes has me as having two first names and no middle name. (In reality I’d read it somewhere on VJ) However, he found us that way and got our cards ordered. Went the next day to pickup the numbers instead of just waiting for the cards.

I found this site on how to get the SAVE database corrected but haven’t really looked into it: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=77d3feb9a2ca8210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=01d62363d8928310VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Just got back from the SSA after stopping for some lunch.

Basically i have been asked to come back in on Tuesday to actually pick up my number and my card will be mailed shortly. Finally we were told what the issue was after the helpful person we have spoken to before called someone. After the fiasco with my I-94 expiring (their fault for mispelling my name and telling me to wait), I finally got my EAD...BUT the system I was being inputted into was taking my AP number (from the bottom of my EAD) instead of my EAD number. He explained that basically they thought I was a mexican/cuban refugee asylum seeker cause the numbers had been mixed up!

So in short, after waiting since March 20th, having withdrawn my application a number of times, having my I-94 expire, receiving my EAD and having numbers mixed up, I should hopefully have a SSN on tuesday!

FINGERS CROSSED!!!!
