Obviously you dont get my point and are probably one of those wasteful americans who love throwing money away in the first place. Or an old man who failed math class rofl.gif So tell me, which one are -you-?

Now. Having said that, $240 is how much they said it would be, NOT $241, $242, $243, $244, or even $240.01 therefore so $240 is exactly how much I should pay and not a penny more!!!!!

There is no money thrown away -

$240 is whatever the exchange rate is at the time you print your receipt, you pay BPI what it states.... don't pay that amount = NO VISA

Today it's states

Consular Exchange Rate: 45.00 PHP = 1 USD Expiration Date: 30/09/2013

i thot i read it's $240??? well @ P10800 that would mean they based it off the peso being exactly P45 = $1!! bec 45 x 240 = 10800............. looking at the last month the peso was NEVER 45 so why are they charging even more then $240 in actuality??? currently the peso is like 44.3..... so it should be that x $240 = ~10,632 can i complain to them???? that is not right.

So you are saying you want to pay MORE? 10,632 is MORE than 10,600... at least in my world it is. USEM is giving you a better exchange rate and you are complaining about paying less.

The current exchange rate is 44.27 to 1. So your visa fee is $3.95 more than the bank rate. Are you gonna quibble if they charge you $4 more?

No the fee is $.395 less

And do you think that insulting me, my age, or my math abilities will change the exchange rate you are getting? The BANK decides the exchange rate, not me, not you. If you don't like it, take it up with the bank. Welcome to international money exchange. You paid $240 at the bank exchange rate. And that cost you 10,800 php. It changes daily.

In this case the embassy determines the exchange rate and they state the rate is 45 = 1

And we have someone complaining that it should be 44.3 = 1

Embassy is giving him a better exchange rate, thus saving him almost $4.00 and he is complaining about saving a few bucks... not losing.

And one more thing... Trigonometry I & II. Algebra I & II. Calculus I, II, & III. Differential Equations. Chemistry I & II. Physics I & II. Statics & Dynamics. Yeah, I suck at math. Now put on your big girl panties and cough up the extra $3.95 or let your fiance sit in the PI. The choice is yours.

Its actually... take the extra $4 in his pocket and go buy a couple beers The USEM exchange rate is BETTER than the banks... so he is saving money.

Thanks for your opinion...but who made you the king of decision making...you think it's "stupid"? haha

That's a moronic statement....

I want it moved up...if it's possible why do you give a #######?

If there are openings....I want an earlier one

You got some pair of kuhunas to tell someone it's stupid to want their interview moved up if possible

By your picture, you are old....too bad your maturity level did not follow suit

Really?

Take a chill pill.... relax...

If you want to change your appointment, have at it. Roll the dice, take the change of getting a earlier date.

rofl.gif

Yeah seriously.

And also, Hank I dont think YOU understand that they shouldn't even be charging P10,800 bec the peso hasn't been worth 45 pesos to $1 since 2010..... so since it's LESS than that it obviously means we'd have to shell out MORE then $240 since $240 x whatever the rate is now is LESS then P10,800! Do you understand yet or you want me to break it down further for you???

Anyway, like I said, Wake me up when you realize that P10,800 is really more then $240 USD thus embassy is screwing us. wow.gif

assuming you ARE wiser......that gives you no right to say what you said.....

You may even be a nice guy Scot.....but you are lacking humility

What you said........you had no right to say.........it was rude and uncalled for

Your next reply SHOULD have been a humble one.....

But then again....too many people think it's WEAK to apologize...to say the what are the 5 most important words in any human relationship.....

I'M SORRY....YOU ARE RIGHT

Wouldn't the world be SUCH a nicer place if pride did not get in the way soooo often
