Provide both the receipt notice number and the A-Number as an identifier,

I am a little confused.... What is the receipt number or a- number.

I have been following all the information and I'm working n putting my packet together now. And I'm getting different information from everyone.

Please i need advice and help. I don't need more links to follow,... They are confusing me.

If you are just putting your I-129F petition packet together, you likely do not have a receipt number or an alien (A#) number. You will receive a receipt number after your petition is accepted (NOA1), and an alien number will likely be generated for the beneficiary of your fiancee petition in a couple of months.
