Case status cannot find for almost 6 mos since noa1 received.

I'm so worried about my case.untill now i cant find it in case status online.its been almos 6 mos. and my husband called uscis and they said nothing to worry cause my case is in process.but im still worried cause i cant find it.anyone of you experience it form the start till your case approved?

You telling me that when you case appear in online the first time it is approved? Im just worried.in your knowledge how long will it take to be approve?

yes that is correct, the first time I could see my case online was when it was approved. there are members here who never could access their case even after it was approved and found out by mail only.

your best bet is to confirm your file is in san Francisco and then track down a member at the same office with a recent approval to get a timeline estimate. from what I read on the volumes at that office, it looked like about four months, but it is very hard to tell due to the charts only using volume and no dates.

if you want to put your mind at ease you can call uscis and speak with an IO (tier2) and they will see your case in the system, or you can take an infopass at SF local office and ask them directly about your case. There is nothing to do to speed up the process, you will only be gathering information until then.

My husband talk to tier 2 they keep saying in process.and then he ask if where is my case now they said still in process.they have the same answer.they did not say they transfer it or others. they only said that the processing is 6 mos to 1 yr.im so frustrate with thisbut yur correct patience is a virtue so the only thing i can do is to wait and pray.thank u steve yur so very helpful. By the way if your get in nvc stage how long is the process their?thank u

yes patience is correct

it will take up to 60 days to get received and logged into nvc

once you are live in the system at nvc you can get through it in about 5 weeks without any checklists.. then add another three weeks for case complete and interview assignment.
