Just gor aproved but I`m not in Brazil yet! How long till start the appointments?

Hello everybody! Finally the best news so far! Our process was approved this time! My fiancé just got the letter! We filled for the second time in middle of july! I wasn`t expecting to be so fast, maybe because at the first we were denied for not sendind enough documentation...

But now something concerns me...I am in London but we`ve put my address in Brazil, I have my return flight for 27 of October, I`ll stop working on 5th of October...

My question for you guys is how long it will take for me to start to make appointments to doctor? Do you think that there`s any chance for me to do the medical exam in London? Do you think it will be enough time? help me please! (if it`s the case I`ll buy another ticket for earlier)

I am so happy but so concerned...

What will happen now?

From the approval it can take another 2 months to your interview (it will go to NVC and then to your embassy) so you should be fine...Is tehere anyone to pickup your mail in Brazil so you'll know when your embassy contacts you? My embassy also gave me a few possible dates for my interview and I could pick one. I'm sure you can schedule as you need it.

you have enough time, u will be able to scheduled your interview when you think are ready. medical should done in Brazil, u can do them in the last days before your interview, just start to prepare your documents now.

Hi! First of all: CONGRATS!!!!! :)

Well, as far as I know who is going to arrange your interview in Rio de Janeiro is the Consulate.

They will send you a letter informing you the day. So, the date they say you MUST be there.

It will take about 2 months from NOA2, I guess.

As soon as you get or RDJ number you can call to the doctor in Rio de Janeiro and arrange a date close to your interview date. It is the doctor who will send your exam to the consulate now.

So, i think you should land in Brazil ealier than October...
