Timeline

So i got engaged and she is from the Philippines. We are wanting to.get a fiance visa and i thought of paying for help from a site but was told to come here. What are all the papers i need? Ive never been married neither has she, no criminal history nothing jut two normal people. I hope to fimd help step by step if possible.

Welcome to VJ. You came to the right place. You're not only going to save money, but your fiancee is going to get her visa quicker too.

The first step in your visa journey involves getting together an I-129F petition packet and sending it to the USCIS. Then you can relax for a few months until they approve your petition.

To help you gather what you need for a petition packet, read the "Guides" for a K-1 fiancée visa. Click on "Guides" at the top of the screen. Then, when you have questions, post them in the K-1 forum or the Philippines forum.
