Question about same-day oath ceremonies

On the USCIS website it lists my local office as having same-day ceremonies "rarely, on a case-by-case basis, depending upon the special situation." What would constitute a special situation? Might it only be for military members or something of that nature?

or emergency that require your naturalization to be expedited. I think that if they do it rarely they will reaaaaaaaaally have to have a good reason to make you one. I read my field office alsoand it says the same thing, but I never heard of nobody who had same day oath in Louisville. I might be wrong though.

Memphis field office doesnt do same day oaths, but they have a same day administrative oath ceremony for those in the military who are naturalizing, as was the case for my wife.
