HOW DO YOU QUALIFY TO BE A SPONSOR?

Timeline

SO I HAVE BEEN WORKING NOW ONE AND A HALF YEAR ONLY FILED ONE TAX RETURN WHICH IS ABOUT $800 SHORT TO MEET THE POVERTY GUIDLINE . HOWEVER I HAVE MORE THAN 5 * THAT $800 IN SAVINGS . SO DO I QUALIFY TO BE A SPONSOR PLEASE HELP

With the assets, you meet the minimum requirements to sponsor. However, it is up to the US Embassy to determine if those sources are reliable and if the assets are sufficient based on a totality of the circumstances.

Barely meeting the minimum puts you in a hard place. You may be asked to provide a cosponsor.
