Finally, today NVC changed our case status to "in transit", it's on the way to the consulate :)

Ok that's good news. For me I have been in transit since the 20th August now. Gd knows when mine will change from in-transit to ready.

Yours should probably reach the consulate on monday.

I was thinking that then I realised it is bank holiday here on Monday so probably it may not come up till Tuesday. If t comes on monday that would be great otherwise tuesday is fine then I can call and book the medical.

Finally, today NVC changed our case status to "in transit", it's on the way to the consulate smile.png

Glad for you! :) We had our case number today! So it seems that they are moving this friday!

Good luck. I hope mine reaches the consulate fast, because my fiancee has her medial on wed and interview on thirsday. if it doesnt reach consulate by tuesday they will cancel her interview, she already had a call from them.

I do not know. We might be trying to reschedule a day before the medical.

check with them just incase you have to give more than 24 hours notice to reschedule / cancel. I know here we need to give 3 days notice or we get charged a late cancellation fee.

Did you pay anything upfront? because we didnt pay anything, no deposit, i dont think they can charge us anything.

Did you guys scheduled the interview appointment yourself or the consulate do that automatically?

do i really need to wait for the packet 3 or just go ahead and schedule the interview?

We scheduled the interview without packet 3 and we did it our self. The consulate does not do it for you in Ukraine. My fiancee received a call from the consulate because they do not have our case yet and was told that they will call her back again on Tuesday and if they still do not have the case she will have to reschedule, so I guess its ok to schedule before receiving the 3rd packet. (it could be different for other countries)

I suggest you check your country's consulate to see if you have to schedule the interview or they do it for you.

Our case was transferred to TSC from Vermon and approved on July 12, 2013. Got the hard copy, since then, there's nothing. I've been calling, emailing, writting letters to USCIS, TSC, Ombudsman, etc... and asked for help with my Senators and Congressman. It's the Texas Service Center that still has my case. I don't know what else I could have done! Any ideas?

Hi received the letter from NVC yesterday saying case has gone to consulate. Has yours changed from in-transit yet? Mine is still in-transit I would assume its their already but because Monday was a bank holiday I guess they have not put it on the system yet. I have schedule end my medical for next week on the 5th sept. let me know how your fiancés medical went once she does it.
