Hello all =))

I was curious (actually more concerned) about the USCIS in general. I sent in my applications (i130's & G325A's) 7/25/13 to have my wife and her 3 year old daughter brought into the country from the Philippines. I got the NOA1 for my wife on July 31st, but nothing for my 3 year old step daughter. Plus, they managed to show my wifes birthdate one day off and my street name incorrect....even though they were correct on the applications ( I checked the photo copies I made of what I sent them). I called the USCIS and spoke with a tier 2 agent and she said she corrected everything and gave me the receipt number for my step daughters i130. And that I should see that one soon as well.

Is it just me, or is this common for them to make such critical mistakes like this so early on into the process? And you'd think that since this is all that they do, that they'd double and triple check my written information BEFORE putting the incorrect data into their database?
